Summary of Privacy Policy

This summary provides key points from our privacy notice; you can find the full Privacy Policy below.

What personal information do we process? When you submit our quote or contact form, call, or text us, we process the information you choose to give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, and the address and details of the property. Learn more in Section 1.

Do we process any sensitive personal information? No. We do not request or process sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, health information, or precise geolocation.

Do we receive any information from third parties? If a real estate agent requests a quote on behalf of a homeowner, we receive the homeowner’s contact and property information from that agent.

How do we process your information? We process your information to respond to your requests, provide and manage our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. Learn more in Section 2.

Do we sell your information or use it for targeted advertising? No. We do not sell personal information, and our website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How do we keep your information safe? We have organizational and technical processes in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Learn more in Section 7.

What are your rights? You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time. Learn more in Section 9.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us when you contact us or request a quote, and that collection is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice.

Data Minimization. We collect only the personal information that is adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary for the purposes disclosed in this privacy notice, and we do not process personal information for unrelated purposes unless we first obtain your consent.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. Our online quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, whether you are an agent, broker, or homeowner, the property address and city, the services needed, your timeline, any notes you add, and whether you agree to receive text messages. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, and your message. In general, the personal information we collect may include:

  • names — to identify you, prepare quotes and proposals, and communicate with you
  • phone numbers — to call or text you about your request and project
  • email addresses — to communicate with you
  • property addresses — to scope, estimate, and perform work at the property
  • real estate agent or brokerage name and contact information — to coordinate the project with the listing agent
  • your role (agent, broker, homeowner/seller), the services you need, and your timeline — to prepare the right proposal
  • contact preferences, including text-message consent — to honor your communication choices
  • property and project information, including photos, videos, measurements, walkthrough notes, proposals, contracts, change orders, invoices, and related communications — to prepare proposals, perform and document the work, and provide support
  • for trade partners and contractors: business name, contact details, and license and insurance information — to verify qualifications and comply with legal requirements

Payment Information. readytolist305 does not store full payment-card numbers. If you pay electronically, your payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, whose use of your information is governed by its own privacy practices.

Sensitive Data. We do not request or process sensitive data, including Social Security numbers or other government identification numbers; personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or citizenship or immigration status; health, genetic, or biometric data; personal data collected from a known child; or precise geolocation data. Please do not send us sensitive data. If we become aware that we have received sensitive data, we will promptly delete it.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information Automatically Collected

In Short: Some technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, is collected automatically when you visit our website.

Like most websites, our website hosting provider automatically records standard log information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information does not identify you by name and is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Form submissions. When you submit a form on our website, your entries are sent to a Google Apps Script service operated in our Google account, saved to a Google Sheets spreadsheet that only we can access, and emailed to us as a notification. With each submission we also record the date and time and the page of our website it was sent from. Google processes this information on our behalf as our service provider and, as part of handling the request, receives your IP address and browser information.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, a service of Google LLC. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. Google’s use of this information is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies. Our website does not currently set cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. If that changes, we will update this notice before we begin.

Information Collected From Other Sources

In Short: We may receive information about homeowners from the real estate agents who refer them to us.

If a real estate agent requests a quote or project on a homeowner’s behalf, the agent may provide us with the homeowner’s name, contact information, and property details. We use that information only to respond to the request and provide the Services.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

In Short: We process your information to provide and manage our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

  • To respond to quote requests and inquiries. We use your information to contact you, schedule walkthroughs, and prepare proposals.
  • To deliver our Services. We use your information to plan, perform, document, and invoice the work.
  • To send administrative information to you. We may send you project updates, scheduling messages, and changes to our terms and policies.
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications. If you are a real estate agent or broker who has given us your contact information, we may send you information about our Services, consistent with your preferences. You can opt out at any time (see Section 9).
  • To post testimonials. We post testimonials on our Services that may contain personal information. We obtain the individual’s permission before posting a testimonial that identifies them.
  • To protect our Services. We may process your information to keep our Services safe and secure, including fraud monitoring and prevention.
  • To comply with our legal obligations. We may process your information to comply with our legal obligations, respond to legal requests, and exercise, establish, or defend our legal rights.

No sale, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal information, use website browsing activity for cross-site targeted advertising, or engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If we ever plan to, we will update this notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law first.

3. When And With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

In Short: We share information only as needed to provide our Services, with the categories of parties below.

Service Providers. We may share your data with vendors and service providers who perform services for us and need access to that information to do that work, such as:

  • Email, productivity, and file-storage providers (currently Google, which stores our form submissions in Google Sheets and delivers notification emails)
  • Phone and text-messaging providers
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) and scheduling tools
  • Website hosting providers
  • Payment processors and accounting tools
  • Professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants), regulators, and government authorities where required by law

Trade Partners and Contractors. Licensed trade partners who perform work on a project receive the property address and the project details they need to do that work. They do not receive unrelated customer communications.

Your Real Estate Agent. If your project was referred by, or is being coordinated with, a real estate agent, we share project status and related information with that agent.

Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

We do not share personal information collected through our text-messaging program with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Do We Use Cookies And Other Tracking Technologies?

In Short: Not currently.

Our website does not currently use cookies, web beacons, or tracking pixels. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts as described in Section 1. If we add cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this notice and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, warranty, or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because it is stored in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

6. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from a person under 18 has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete it. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at [email protected].

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.

8. Text Messaging

If you check the text-message box on our form, or otherwise give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your request and project. Checking the box is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply “STOP” to opt out or “HELP” for help. Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In Short: You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing at any time.

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information and give you a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete personal information you provided to us, subject to exceptions allowed by law (for example, records we must keep for tax, contract, or warranty purposes); and
  • stop sending you marketing messages.

Residents of some states may have additional rights under their state’s privacy laws, where those laws apply to us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Withdrawing your consent. If we rely on your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Opting out of marketing. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email, by replying “STOP” to our text messages, or by contacting us. We may still send you service-related messages about an active request or project.

Verification. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, typically by matching information you have already provided to us. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and in any case within forty-five (45) days.

10. Controls For Do-Not-Track Features And Universal Opt-Out Signals

Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) setting, and some support the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”). Because our website does not track you across sites or use advertising technologies, there is no tracking for these signals to turn off. If we ever add such technologies, we will honor GPC and other legally recognized universal opt-out signals as a request to opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising, to the extent required by applicable law.

11. Do We Make Updates To This Notice?

In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws and to reflect changes in our practices.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last Updated” date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes, we may notify you by prominently posting a notice of the changes or by sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this privacy notice periodically.
